Kay said some nice things about Flock so I thought I better take it for a spin. It was also time to investigate a replacement for the Sage RSS reader in Firefox I have been having some odd problems there lately and my first attempt at a replacement with Orangoo was an interesting experience. And it was also time to tidy up my bookmarks and make use of my del.icio.us account.
Things have been a little quiet round here lately, mainly because I write most of my posts on the uninteruppted 35 minute bus ride to and from work. However in the last week the rides have been spent investigating RSS aggregators and testing them on my trusty powerbook.
What I am looking for is to take feeds from a variety of sources and put them into a single feed or feeds.

For those of you reading the RSS feed, you will of noticed a change from summary
to full posts. I have made the change because of the number of people taking the
RSS feeds. Don’t worry if you want to keep the summary feeds because they are
still available.
The tailwind that made the morning commute relatively easy had strengthen, so the ride home was into a nasty headwind and what usually takes an hour forty was just under two hours. And that was only because I managed to tuck in behind two riders who felt sorry for me for the last 5kms along the freeway bike path.

After five weeks off a bike with a broken collarbone, I finally got back on the road bike on Saturday, So this morning my bright idea was to commute to work, hey it is only 43.5km each way….
OSIG is depending on who you talk to (or my mood) the Online Services Interest Group or the Online Services In Government Group. on Wednesday OSIG had it’s second event of the new season, a presentation by Kevin Russell of the Open Source Centre.

WE05 closing party gossip, well I don’t think there was any real good gossip, as long Tantek Celik gets to his surfing lesson today. Otherwise I will be in trouble from Amber after telling her I would look after him. I last saw Tantek in a taxi on his way back to the hotel from Kings Cross, unfortunately he was with Doug Bowman and Doug was the only one the King Cross spruikers was trying to get into their sleazy night clubs.
