FireBug extension for Firefox

FireBug a firefox extension that one day might challenge web developer as the most useful firefox extension in my toolbox. A heap of the tools to poke, prod, and monitor your JavaScript, CSS, HTML and Ajax including a debugger, error console, command line, and a variety of inspectors. I can not get it to do everything it is supposed to like live editting of the HTML, but even so the inspectors are well worth the download.

You can use SWFobject or Unobtrusive Flash Objects to get around the Eolas patent issue in IE and providing content for browsers without flash plugin or the required version of the flash plugin. However, there are a number of problems in using Flash for scaling vector graphics:

That active two week old blue merle border collie puppy (top right) clambering over her sleeping black and white brothers and sisters will be ours in four or so weeks time. At the moment we are stumped for a name and are hoping for suggestions.

CSS reboot havok

If you haven’t noticed this site has had a CSS reboot and a little tweaking of the WordPress templates. It is a partially a proof of concept (or failure in concept if you use a Mac) and very much a work in progress. Let me know if find any problems and please stretch the pages by varying your browser width (and the header still looks good at 300% @ 3000 pixels).
