iPhone vs Mobile web

Sue the Minister for Podcasting has nominated me as Minister for Mobiles and harassed me ;-) to comment of the iPhone vs Mobile Web article from Read/Write Web. Which is based on Forrester’s report The Mobile Web Versus The Web On An iPhone: iPhone Wins In A Blowout. Being unwilling to pay $50US for a 5 page US centric report, I will have to base my comments on the Read/Write Web article and the small snippet that is available free from the Forrester website.

or what a difference a change of operating system makes

The first two weeks with the Nokia BH501 was a little frustrating. I had not spent the time to get bluetooth stereo working on my MacBook Pro and while the sound quality was ok and only subject to the rare break up of the signal. It was only mono and on occasions a pain to connect. On the Dopod 838pro the sound quality was poor, the bottom end was real muddy and the signal would regularly break up.

Well on Tuesday I upgraded the Dopod to Windows Mobile 6 and what a difference that made to the sound quality …
