Jeremy Keith has a pet peeve ads on blogs, and he calls those bloggers blog whores. I use to believe that ads did not belong on blogs, until I read Why People Want to Know What’s In It For *You*. As most my readers tend to visit via google, I will put ads on the next version of this site, just to increase the confidence of casual visitors.
I have started work on a redesign of this blog, this post is to clarify my thoughts and elict your opinions on what is good, memorable or just damn ugly about this blog.
If you ever read my old copyright statement you found that I was very relaxed about the reuse of my content and released it under a Creative Commons Attribution 2.5 License.
However, after seeing some of my content has turned up on splogs and I think splogs are evil and the bane of bloggers, I thought I should take the first step and change my copyright to Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 2.5 License.
If you can find a commercial use for my content, let me know and I will give you permission, unless you are intend to use it to just generate advertising revenue or for search engine manipulation.

RSS Reading Habits - Survey by Microsoft Research Asia, Center for Interaction Design via Kevin Hale on of the people behind Wufoo.com. Microsoft Asia are looking carrying out an anonymous survey of RSS reading habits. Sure it is Microsoft, but they are willing to share, they will publish the result so everybody can see. So why not take the survey it is only eight question, plus the option to upload your OPML file.
I just changed hosts and the rewriting of URLs for WordPress stopped working. I assumed a .htaccess or mod_rewrite where problem, but I have not had any problems with the other five blogs that I have set up on via Reseller Zoom account. So after scratching my head this morning. I got home, upgraded my version of WordPress to the latest version and that fixed the problem.
If you are not aware, the National Federation of the Blind is taking Target to court in the US over accessibility of Target.com (this has big implications, as I understand the e-commerce engine used by Target.com is the Amazon engine).
